Paper Collage

We have been enjoying glue sticks lately. At around 24 months Lou began getting how to use one. Yesterday I had her point out images she liked and I cut them out. She then glued them all over a huge piece of paper. We also made some smaller ones using self inking stamps.

And last week Lou began making a collage on a collage, without paper underneath. My first instinct was to stop her, but I thought better of it.

I thought it came out quite well.

I cut the shapes out and put them in a basket along with some cut old cards.

The activity was not without its casualties…
