I was looking at my montessori books the other day and saw some kid cutting strips of paper into a bowl. We tried this out a couple months ago with Peter holding the strips of paper and Lou cutting them. She was thrilled. So I thought I would try it out again, this time with Lou holding the strips.

It went quite well. She cut for about 20 minutes before asking for bigger pieces and then getting bored.
