Pie Crust Dough
This was the surprise of the week. We made some pie crust dough from our Cooks Illustrated cookbook for some mini quiches. Lou had a blast with the left over dough. First off she could eat some of it. Secondly she could cut it with her little butter knife.
The sculpting fun lasted for almost an hour. I gave her a little cup of flour and the rolling pin and she had even more fun. Now I really want a mini-rolling pin. The recipe is from this book, which is the best cookbook staple to have: |
