13 Months – First Pours

I thought I would give pouring a shot with 13 month old Ero. I placed a little creamer and a little glass down on our trusty tray. I put half an inch of water in the pitcher.

Ero poured back and forth for over 12 minutes. I kept refilling the pitcher as he ran out of water (it would be all over the tray from spills.) Montessori says to teach your child to hold the pitcher with two hands, but I just let the kids pour with one hand. They also say to have a cut sponge for the child to clean up their spills. We rarely have any little sponges on hand, they all disappear.
